Meyer Lemon Mixer

Meyer lemon*
water
pure cane sugar
Bitterness level: somewhat mild

Is there anything better than a Meyer lemon? A cross between a tangerine and a Eureka lemon, the Meyer lemon has a delightful scent and a surprisingly tart taste. I swap my neighbors and friends fruit for jam (or mixer) and that's how I get my hands on the most amazing Meyers; huge, deep yellow-nearing-orange skin, and astounding flavor. In a tall glass, mix together ¼ cup vodka, ¼ cup Meyer Lemon Mixer, ½ cup sparkling water, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Try a splash of Meyer Lemon Mixer in a glass of champagne, sparkling wine, cava, or prosecco. Fabulous!
